ARTIST STATEMENT
Many
people's treasured family photographs gather dust. They sit in unopened
photo albums, in drawers and
shoeboxes and in the back of closets. By combining the techniques of
photo-collage with my creative vision, I can turn them
into works of art.

My
work has been presented as gifts to celebrate weddings, anniversaries,
birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs and other
special occasions. Some of these pieces have been imprinted on t-shirts
and the people involved have been thrilled to be the
subjects of wearable art.
HOW IT WORKS
You give me a group of photographs to consider and I select those which inspire me and seem to be well suited
for the kind of artistic statement I favor.

I believe that "form should follow function" thus my ideas always flow from your photographs. Even
a small piece can make a dramatic statement if larger photographic images are used.
Every image is skillfully hand cut with minute details preserved for maximum artistic effect.
There is no use of computer enhancement. The photographic subjects are laid out on a variety of backgrounds and other
elements are added until a composition emerges.
